This is a versatile clay body with excellent throwing and handbuilding properties. It is like a combination of vanilla bean and concrete, speckled but light gray.

Total Shrinkage at Cone 6:  12%

Porosity at Cone 6:  0.3 to 0.4%

Note: All of our clays are raw kaolin. This means that the clays are not processed like commercial clays, they are mixed in small batches and usually have a little extra moisture and have not been pugged. To get the most out of the clays, dry out to your satisfaction and wedge, wedge, and wedge again.
